The convergence of Kanye West.

So I was on Twitter some days ago, and my friend @Neezy_ sends me this photo because he knows how radical I feel about Kanye West. I am possibly one of the biggest Kanye fans there is, and I would honestly slap my mum in the face if he told me to, but I doubt he would want me to do that to my mum, because, well, that's not nice.

Now, this photo does a lot for me, not only does it show how far Kanye has come, it shows his genius way in developing his music and his convergence into becoming one of the best rappers in the world.
The photo starts with his first album and his infamous signature bear. Looking at the way he is dressed, this is what the old Kanye looked like. Very average clothes, nothing special about his appearance, apart from his absolutely adorable chubby cheeks in which he gained after the accident he was in. If you don't know about this accident, you should be ashamed of yourself. Go onto YouTube and type in 'Through the wire - Kanye West" and you will see rapped through the stages of the accident.

The second album cover, 'Late registration', shows Kanye with an almost school uniform look to him, and his eyes are green. I think the fact that his eyes are a different colour depicts the change in him coming along gradually. In the first image, Kanye's eyes are brown, depicting an ordinary life, an ordinary guy, but you can see the change in his eyes, literally as he sprouts from more than a rapper to a legend in this second album.

In Kanye West's 'Graduation' picture, you can notice a lot of differences. Taking on board that these images have been inspired by Kanye's actual album covers, the background is actually taken from his album 'Graduation', but you notice something different besides the attire that the bear is wearing, you can see the difference in Kanye's eyes. He has more colourful eyes and you can see him looking at things in a more colourful light. I think this is where Kanye truly begins to branch out and find out that rapping is not all he is good for.

808's & Heartbreak is the album in which showed the world what an artist Kanye really is. It pulled him away from the hardcore rapper that everyone knew him as, and put him in a more versatile light. He made songs using auto-tune, which gave his music an older feel and a more chilled feel. He also changed his whole dress sense and went from the ordinary Kanye, to the fashion icon that everyone knows him as today. His conversion into the fashion icon has sparked many discussions and debates. From his skinny jeans to his silver suits, Kanye rocked the world of fashion, as well as he rocked the works of music. 'Love Lock-Down' is one of the songs from that album that really shows the convergence from rapper, to musical genius. The different sounds and even the video, show the world how Kanye has come to change the world of music for the better and out rappers into a new light. A new light that no rappers have been in before.

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, I have to say, is my favourite album from Kanye. The album has everyone involved in it, from La Roux, to Fergie, but that's not why it makes it special to me. This album is special because it truly shows the change in Kanye, that people may have doubted before. It shows him as more of a producer, than a rapper and Kanye didn't ever really get credit for his producing. It showed the world that not only is Kanye a rapper, a fashion icon and genius, he is a producer. He can do whatever he wants and still be fucking amazing at it. He directed a series of videos for the songs on this album, and the videos are absolutely beautiful. He spreads his wings from one thing to another and he is still fucking brilliant at everything he does.
