I like music...

Ok so, I like music and I just can't avoid speaking about it.
I'm going to give you a run down to the best songs and the best artists at the moment and if you don't know, you've got to start finding out.

Ed Sheeran.
19 year old ginger boy with a whole load of passion and a guitar?
Why yes, Ed Sheeran is a really good musician.
He makes his own music and writes his own songs. He's got his collobaration EP out and I swear, it's like a jizzfest to my ears. He's amazing.
Listen to 'Drown Me Out' by him and Ghetts. He's just... too slick.
Follow him on the Twetter or visit him on the interwebs.

Jessie J
This bitch is fierce! I knew about her

Today's Fashion Inspiration... RIHANNA!

Ok so Rihanna turned 23 yesterday and I have no idea what she did for her birthday. I'm expecting a lavish, glamourous ball of some sort and for all of the important figures in the celebrity world to roll up in their amazingly expensive cares with their amazingly gorgeous partners on hand, like fashion accessories. Whatever Rihanna plans on doing, I am going to be there.
Anyway, this is an article about how amazing Rihanna is now.
I'm not going to lie, I have been on and off Rihanna since she started. She first came out with that carribean feel to her music and I love it because it was different. Then, she switched it up and did 'S.O.S' and 'Unfaithful', and I loved those songs, don't get me wrong. THEN, she did 'Umbrella'.
UMBRELLA? Really, RiRi?
That song was good for like, the first 2 weeks it came out and then the 3rd week came and it was just being forced onto every fucking radio and TV station in the UK.
Her and that annoying as FUCK song were in the music charts for 11 weeks.
ELEVEN WEEKS?!
How is that even possible?
Anyway, I didn't come on here to talk about Rihanna's music, I came to adress her style.
Rihanna has ALWAYS had style no doubt about it. She has always had that unique twist to her appearance and that's something that I absolutely love about her.
She doesn't care if her boob is hanging out of if she has got a ladder in her tights, she will wear it like that and it will eventually become a trend.
For example:

Rihanna short hair trend. (See right).
Rihanna is a BAD BITCH. Look how flawless she is! Anyway, her hair paved a way for all of the girls and their short hair styles. SHE MADE IT IN.
And that whole lighter than your skin complextion lipstick thing was her idea also.

Rihanna's bob (Left):
Come on. Everyone has considered having a bob cut, but can you pull it off like Ri-Ri all whilst having an oerphopedic leg? Nuh-huh, didn't think so.

Rihanna's star tattoos:
Everyone copied her.
Even I wanted to

HAYLEY ST AIMEE - The Tattoo Artist.

Everyone say hi to this beauty.
Her name is Hayley St Aimee and she wants to be a tattoo artist when she's older.

This is my first friend interview so I'll ask her the basics. She's got a tumblr and I'll post the link to it at the bottom of this interview!

Here goes!

Sup, what's your name and how old are you?
Haha hey, My names Hayley and I'm sixteen.

So, you want to be a tattoo artist or a tattooist? I'm never quite sure what they're called. Why have you chosen this as a career path?
Yes, that's the main goal. I have always wanted to do something creative and artistic as a job, as it's something I love doing. And I want to look forward to waking up and going to work in the morning. For ages I couldn't decide on what I wanted to do. But then I was introduced to tattoos by my Uncle who is heavily covered. And also from my favourite tattoo artist Kat Von D. I soon fell in to love with everything about tattoos and tattooing and I can't wait to get the ball rolling.

Awesome! So I take it Kat Von D is your inspiration. Who else fits into that inspirational catergory of yours?
Yes she (Kat Von D) is a very BIG inspiration and meeting her was amazing, still can't believe it. I have quite a long list of artists work that I find inspiring Mark Ryden, James Jean, Banksy, Bob Tyrell, Jamel Shabazz, Bruce Davidson and thats just to name a few. I love anyone with a real diverse outlook on art.

So, what are you doing at the moment?
Right now I'm working in retail whilst trying to build up a really good portfolio to eventually take round to lots of tattoo studios and try and find work. I also like to take photos and look at other peoples art of inspiration.

Is there anything else you like doing besides drawing on bodies?
Hahaha at school I really liked maths. Although I haven't had a maths lesson in so long I've probably forgotten everything. I can also play piano. And of course chilling with my bitches and exploring the world are just a few of my favourite pass times.

Ergh, I hate maths! The worst subject ever! And Oooh the piano, I play that too. On the note of music, have you got a favourite artist at the moment?
Haha, at the moment I'm loving all the new to the scene Uk artist Jessie J , Ed Sheeran, Labrinth and the soon to come Rita Ora. I think I have the most diverse taste when it comes to music, I could seriously listen and enjoy pretty much all genres.

Awesome! Favourite song right now?
Ermm although neither of them are new I can't stop listening to Ed Sheeran - Be like you, Jessie J - Whose laughing now and Prince - I wanna be your lover

Coolness! Have you got a specific clothing style? And who's your favourite designer?
Come to think of it my style is quite diverse too, Im always switching it up, my two favourite designers are Ashish Gupta and Vivienne Westwood.

Lastly, have you got a blog or a website that people can follow you on?
I'm always on twitter @HAYLEYSTAIMEE and my blog www.failtoconform.tumblr.com

COOOOLESS! Ok, well it was good talking to you and getting to know more about Hayley. You're a unique individual and I really hope you inspire people into not following the ways of society! Hopefully I'll conduct another interview with you soonish!
Haha nice talking to you too. And I look forward to it !

Again, here's some links to her personal Twitter and blog:

First ok all, I would like...

I would like to make it known that I have some perfect freinds with great aspirations and dreams.
We don't deal with dead beats around here, we all have an idea of what we want to do when we are older, so in the next post, I will write a piece on one of my friends that wants to be a tattoo artist.

A bit more info...

This blog is not about the well known international fashion designers, it's about the making and building up of British fashion designers and stylist and making them known to the rest of the world.
My blog isn't popular enough to give that sort of recognition to the rest of the world letting them know about these aspiring designers and stylist, but I want to build up a persona for all of these talented people.

Just wanted to through that out there!

Excuse the random picture on the side there. I have no idea.

I've started over.

Ok, so I started again.
I went so off topic with the other blog (story of my life) and I realised that if fashion journalism is something I want to persue as a future career path, I shouldn't get sucked into the other folds of society.
What the hell am I talking about, you may ask yourself.
Well, I have no idea.

Anyway, a rundown on what this blog will consist of mostly:

-Interviews with stylists.
-Photography that my friends have done of models
-Model interviews
-Reviews of clothing
-LONDON FASHION WEEK
-PARIS FASHION WEEK
-NEW YORK FASHION WEEK
And a lot more.

Just watch this space, guys!
